    uninstall problem

    Locked

    by anevilled ·

I need to uninstall ‘Smart Draw’ from my computer. When I tried to uninstall it said ‘Could not open INSTALL.LOG file’. I tried reinstalling the program and then uninstall it, but the same message came. How can I achieve this?

    Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks in advance,
    Neville

Rip it out of registry then delete the install location

Using regedit do a search on “Smart Draw”. Every time you hit a key that has “Smart Draw” in it, delete it from the registry. Then go and delete the installation folder and the start menu entry. Reboot and its gone.

Found your post when I had the same problem with SmartDraw and then found the solution. Cut and paste the install.log file from the SmartDraw directory under Program Files into a simple directory such as desktop, tmp or c:\. Double click the Unwise.exe in the SmartDraw directory and it will ask you the open the install.log. Open it from the directory you have put it in and it should then uninstall.

Thank you from 2012! For anyone else trying to remove this program — be sure to delete the install.log file from he SmartDraw directory — don;t just copy it to another folder.

right-click the icon>properties>find target button. Look for a uninst.exe file, run this app.

May have been some sloppy work on the programmers end
